Recently my body has only been craving a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, so I’m going with it. I used to crave meat, but now it repulses me. I do eat a little fish, but mainly vegetarian. I’ve only been on this kick a week, but so far I really enjoy it and feel good. This meal featured is quinoa, spicy Italian Tofurky sausage, avocado with siracha and organic ketchup. Delicious!
Bottom line, listen to your body and fuel it what it needs. There is no one diet that works for everyone. Eat to live!

Crazy how the body works. I have been practicing yoga for 11 years. I love it! I took time away to lift more and do other workouts, but I always come back. Why? Because it makes me feel strong, alive, powerful, and it’s so good for my body. Yesterday was a horrible day. Dede and I did Ra-storitive yoga and it felt amazing, but my back was bothering me, and so on and off all day I was in tears. I even teared up at the Chiro office discussing my x-rays. But I have to accept the spine God gave me and work with my strengths and weaknesses. Today Dede and I did Ra level 2 class and for the first time I did “hurdler pose” and I felt soo happy and proud, no tears! I felt grateful and blessed, I even looked over at Dede and said I love you. Bottom line, we all are given limitations with our body—work with them, embrace them. Let go of why me?? Instead let’s say thank you for everything you are and are not. There is noone like you in the world.
